    NSBE’s Annual Convention returns to the city of Indianapolis after much success at the 2001 Annual Convention, where more than 9000 students, alumni, and professional members were in attendance and more than 300 companies participated in our career fair, competing for the best engineering talent in the black community. During the 2001 Annual Convention, Indianapolis’s own Vivica A. Fox hosted our Golden Torch Awards (GTA) along with plenary speakers: Tavis Smiley, Tony Brown, Kweisi Mfume and many others.
