Raytheon's MathMovesU program launched a new classroom grant opportunity for K-12 students and teachers today. Please share this information with those in your networks who may be interested.

The "Build it Better" contest challenges teachers and their students to re-engineer an aspect of their school life -- from lunch lines to monkey bars to desk configuration -- describing how they would design it better, for a chance to win up to $2,000 for their classroom.

Teachers and their students may submit multiple entries  – as a photo essay, video or detailed drawing – from February 18 through April 19 via the MathMovesU Facebook page. First, second and third-place winners will receive $2,000, $1,000 and $500 classroom grants for their schools, respectively.  More information can be found at http://www.raytheon.com/newsroom/feature/rtn13_stemeducation/
