Dear Friends, Colleagues and Partners –
This is a heavy moment in our country. It is all too familiar and all too common, and that makes it even more painful. While we are experiencing the full range of emotions and will continue to process these as a team, we are very clear in our response: TIES unequivocally stands in solidarity with the Black community during these times and beyond.
Our team is using this moment to look inward and take the necessary, ongoing actions to ensure that we are an anti-racist organization that is not just inclusive, but one that acts with purpose to speak out against racism and dismantle structural barriers of oppression across all sectors. We do not take this responsibility lightly and we will more intentionally work to support and uplift communities of color, we will invite them to our table, and we will build that work into the fabric of our organization.
