Sheri has worked in STEM education for over 30 years as a teacher, department chair, school administrator, and consultant. Her work with TIES includes more than eight years working with the Ministry of Education in Egypt to design and implement STEM schools and create STEM curricula for the Egyptian public school system.  Sheri worked for many years for the College Board, training teachers to score Advanced Placement essays in Biology. She has also written and evaluated biology test items for the College Board and ACT. Sheri is the Associate Head of School at Hathaway Brown School, an independent girls’ school nationally recognized for its STEM curriculum and programs. She received the inaugural National Association of Biology Teachers’ Award for promoting young women in science. She is dedicated to serving and supporting underrepresented groups in STEM. Her work includes national and international initiatives in STEM education, designing curricula, and supporting educators.
